holds an M.Phil in "Hospitals and Health Systems
Management" from the country's premier, institute of
Science and Technology – The Birla Institute of
Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan in collaboration
with CMC Vellore and Tulane University, USA.
Dr. Arora has done a course in Disaster Management from Indra Gandi National Institute of Disaster Managment. World Bank - NIDM- online courses and Disaster Managment.
Besides Academic Qualification & attending training
programmes /seminars/ workshops in India & Abroad Dr.
Arora has vast field experience in various disaster
situations. With a rich experience of over 25 years in the
Indian Red Cross Society, ranging from national to
international assignments. Dr. Arora has spearheaded and led
critical assignments for disaster response during the
earthquake in Bhuj - Gujarat, to leading the Red Cross
International delegation for needs assessment in Tsunami hit
coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
Dr. Arora, is currently
a part of the Indian Red cross Society's and South Asia's
first technically qualified humanitarian/disaster response
task force.
In the field of Health Care also,
besides clinical work Dr. Arora has vast experience in
Administrative and Managerial roles at various levels.
